Lady Gaga has unveiled the video for her new single 'Applause'. Press 'play' above to watch it.
The typically uninhibited promo clip features high-octane dance routines, an array of wig and costume changes, an explosion of glitter, plenty of writhing and, perhaps most memorably, several shots of the singer's head on a swan's body.
'Applause', the first track to be taken from Lady Gaga's forthcoming album 'ARTPOP', entered the UK's Official Singles Chart at Number Five yesterday (August 18). The singer will perform "one hour of all new music" from the album, due November 11, when she appears at London's Roundhouse on September 1, the opening night of this year's iTunes Festival.
Meanwhile, Gaga has accused US gossip blogger Perez Hilton of trying to stalk her in a tweet that has since been deleted. Hilton has denied the accusation, calling it "utterly false" and "defamatory".
