Lil Wayne Says 'Dedication 5' Will Drop In 10 Days

Lil Wayne is dropping his anticipated Dedication 5 mixtape in a little over a week?

Back in June, the hip-hop star and DJ Drama spilled the beans about the upcoming installment of their popular mixtapes series, saying the project was underway.

This week, on Wednesday (August 14), a fan tweeted Weezy about Dedication 5... and the rapper responded.

"ummm I need D5 soon!! I can't wait any longer," a fan using the handle @WisamKizyJr wrote.

Lil Wayne's response (@LilTuneChi): "I got u bro!! Gimme like 10 mo days"

So, if Weezy stays true to his word, Dedication 5 will hit the Internet on August 24th. Stay tuned...

The rapper last dropped Dedication 4, in conjunction with DJ Drama as part of the Gangsta Grillz series, in September 2012. The tape series originall launched in 2005.
