Nigeria’s Oil City, Port Harcourt witnessed one of the biggest parties of the year last weekend as the Hennessy Artistry 2013 club tour stormed the garden city with some of Nigeria’s biggest superstars.

Hosted by popular on air personality Olisa Adibua, the event held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Lamborghini club in GRA, Port Harcourt and saw guests from different parts of the country come to witness the ultimate Hennessy experience.

With energetic performances from fast rising acts: Pucado and Phyno, the event kicked off on a high note and fans sure got in the party mood.

Dbanj brought the house down with pulsating performances also thrilling guests in attendance with his first live performance of this year’s Artistry theme song.

Port Harcourt’s biggest artiste, Burna Boy was also in town to party with Dbanj and fans present.

Dbanj will make his second club appearance in Lagos later in September. The next stop for the Hennessy Artistry club tour this weekend is Club DV8 in Victoria Island, Lagos and will feature performances from Phyno, Kay Switch and Chidinma.

The Hennessy Artistry 2013 club tour supporting acts include Olamide, Chidinma, Vector, Pucado, Phyno, Seyi Shay, Show Dem Camp, Kay Switch and Sean Tizzle.

Diddy and J. Cole Involved In Brawl At VMAs After-Party

New York Daily News reports that there was a brawl at the MTV VMAs after-party on Sunday night at the Dream Downtown, started by Diddy. Beyonce ended up being caught in the middle. The fight got worse then stopped after ninety seconds of shoving and bottle breaking around 1:30 AM.

A source said: "Diddy got in a fight with someone partying too close to him and his girlfriend [Cassie]. It was mayhem. Beyoncé was yelling to stop and Jay Z was separating people and getting people away from her. We were all dancing and the fight breaks out, and it happened so quickly and bottles were crashing everywhere, and everyone was screaming. People got pushed into bottles. Then Diddy got up, took the mic and said ‘It's all cool! Ya'll keep having fun! It's no big deal, it's over.' "

Among those in attendance were Jamie Foxx, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, Leonardo Dicaprio, Rihanna, Drake, Will.i.am, Russell Simmons and Busta Rhymes, who had a bodyguard.

Meanwhile, The New York Post reports it was J. Cole who brawled with Diddy at the party.

Another source said: "J. Cole was saying inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. Sean immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown, but it was a visible disturbance. A few bottles splashed to the floor and some partygoers were knocked over, falling on top of Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives.' "

Other witnesses said it was a 3 AM "dust-up" that started after several bottles of Diddy's Ciroc had been consumed. Combs walked out and seemed unbothered. He went to the microphone, welcomed everyone to the party and then wished Cassie a happy birthday.

Diddy commented on the fiasco on Twitter, denying it. He wrote:

Rihanna And Drake Dating Rumors Make The Rounds

Are Rihanna and Drake really dating? There’s a new report that the 25-year-old singer and the 26-year-old rapper dined together on Friday night — and that the evening ended with a kiss.

According to Hollywood Life, on Friday night Rihanna joined Drake at New York City’s Sons of Essex where he was having dinner with a group of about 10 people. According to that report, the group was dancing, singing, and doing shots.

However, it could have just been a group of friends having fun, not what you’d consider a date. Reportedly, Rihanna and Drake left separately. And the kiss was described as a peck on the cheek.

“It wasn’t nothing major. It was just Drake being himself,” an unnamed source said.

Although bouncers supposedly prevented anyone from taking pictures, the get-together itself is probably more than just a rumor. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that the appearance of both Rihanna and Drake on the scene was blabbed by the Sons of Essex chef.

Rihanna and Drake’s dating history has been difficult. Many fans would like to see them get back together. Now that it looks like she has finally quit Chris Brown for good, maybe Drake will get another chance.

Rumor Fix, among others, said that Rihanna and Drake were also spotted leaving the VMA after-party at PHD Rooftop. Well, they did leave separately — but it was whispered that it was within minutes of each other’s departure.



According to them, Rihanna was so ready to leave that she departed with a drink still in her hot little hand.

But Drake had both hands free so he could put them over his face and spoil the picture that some photographers tried to grab at the scene.

In this August 25 Instagram photo, Rihanna says, “#Decisions.” I will leave it to you to ponder what those decisions might be.

The most talked about moment from Sunday's (August 25) 2013 MTV VMAs was definitely Miley Cyrus' outta control performance, fulla twerking and sexual antics... including some backing it up on Robin Thicke.

Could this be Love? Two Kenyan Men Sign Agreement To Share The Same Wife

Two Kenyan men have signed an agreement to “marry” the same woman, reports say.
The woman had been having affairs with both men for more than four years and apparently refused to choose between them.
The agreement sets out a rota for Sylvester Mwendwa and Elijah Kimani to stay in her house and states they will both help raise any children she bears.

Lawyers said their “marriage” would be legally recognised if they could prove polyandry was part of their custom.
Mwendwa and Kimani drafted the agreement after realising they had both been having an affair with the woman in Mombasa County for more than four years, the local Daily Nation newspaper reports.

According to a report from BBC.CO.UK community policing officer Adhalah Abdulrahman persuaded the two men to marry the woman after he saw them fighting over her.

“We have agreed that from today, we will not threaten or have jealous feelings because of our wife, who says she’s not ready to let go of any of us,” the agreement says, Kenya’s NTV station reports.

“Each one will respect the day set aside for him. We agree to love each other and live peacefully. No-one has forced us to make this agreement,” it adds.

Mwenda said her parents had given their blessing, while he is planning to pay the bride price.
The woman, a widow with two children, did not want to be named.
Kenyan family lawyer Judy Thongori told the Daily Nation that the law does not explicitly forbid polyandry – a woman having more than one husband.

“The laws we have do not talk about it but for such a union to be recognised in Kenya, it has to be either under the statutory law or as customary marriage. The question we should ask now is whether these people come from communities that have been practising polyandry,” she is quoted as saying.

Polygamous marriages often take place in Kenya, but wife-sharing is unheard of.

Mass Failure: All 25,000 Students Fail In University Admission Test

Every single student who applied for admission into the University of Liberia failed the school’s admission test, and there were over 25,000 of them!
A university official said students who took the $25 exam did not have a basic understanding of English, the BBC reports, and it was the first time that all entrants failed.

Liberia’s President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has said the country’s education system is still “in a mess” following a civil war that ended a decade ago.

Education Minister Etmonia David-Tarpeh will meet with university officials to discuss the 100 percent failure rate, the BBC reports.

“I know there are a lot of weaknesses in the schools but for a whole group of people to take exams and every single one of them to fail, I have my doubts about that,” David-Tarpeh said. “It’s like mass murder.”

Lady Gaga made a triumphant stage return at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night.

The singer opened the show from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, performing her new single Applause.

She began the performance dressed head-to-toe in white, a canvas surrounding her face as cheers and boos boomed over the track.

The singer soon stripped down for a performance that included quick changes that highlighted several looks from her career.

Katy Perry to Perform Under the Brooklyn Bridge at 2013 MTV Video Music Awards

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards will go down tonight (Aug. 25) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. — but not all the performers will take the stage inside Jay-Z‘s home turf. Show closer Katy Perry will perform outside the venue … and under a bridge!

Us Weekly reports that Perry will take the biggest borough by storm, but it wasn’t a smooth ride planning it all along. Perry originally wanted to perform atop the bridge, but New York City wouldn’t grant the John Mayer paramour a permit to do so.
