DMX Tells Why He Streaked

As we reported earlier, DMX was seen on a Detroit hotel’s camera system streaking around the hallway buck naked!

So what was that all about, you ask? Well, here’s a statement from X’s publicist Domenick Nati

“DMX was a Detroit hotel with his DJ (DJ NonStop) and his road manager (Montana) before his performance with Eve and Lil Kim on August 31st. X and the team were killing time at the hotel before the concert and dared each other to streak in the hallway. No one was aware that security cameras were rolling and it was just a playful dare between friends.” ~Domenick Nati (Nati Celebrity Services)

DMX‘s current existence is more manic than his rhyme delivery, which is no small feat as anyone who’s listened to his songs can attest to. Some new video footage provides another peek into his perpetually helter skelter lifestyle.



For whatever reason, X was caught on video running around naked in a hotel, which provides a full frontal scene not witnessed since his appearance in ‘Belly.’

The rapper pulls down his boxer shorts at the start of the clip, and begins cavorting around the floor as hotel employees attempt to do their duty. He’s wearing nothing but socks and a house arrest ankle brace.

Later in the visual, the ‘Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood’ creator puts on his boxers casually as if running around naked is perfectly acceptable behavior.

TMZ, who obtained the footage, reached out to DMX for a comment about the situation. He answered with a simple, “I’m not ashamed of anything I got.”
